The Role:

We’re looking for a technically skilled, solutions-driven Technical Operations Associate to lead cloud deployment projects, support hardware and software troubleshooting, and ensure smooth customer onboarding. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy solving real-world problems with tech—this role is for you.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scope & Design Cloud Projects : Partner with Sales and Support to gather network information, define project requirements, and help design cost-effective, reliable cloud deployment solutions.
• Deploy Cloud Solutions : Configure VPNs, migrate SQL databases, spin up GCP instances, and guide on-site IT staff through hardware setup, and onboard customers to their new cloud system—all done remotely.
• Cloud Project Budget Tracking: Drive projects to completion on time and within budget. 
• Communicate & Coordinate : Provide clear, daily updates to customers and internal teams, flag risks early, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot BlueWave hardware and software issues for customers with confidence and care.
• Configure & Test Hardware : Prepare equipment for new installations or repairs to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
• Weekly Reports and KPIs : Present performance metrics and updates to leadership to highlight wins and surface roadblocks.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years industry experience (preferred): Familiarity with access control, cloud connectivity, and IT infrastructure is essential for managing cloud-hosted access control and video surveillance projects.
• 1+ years technical experience: Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Experience in tech support, hardware/software engineering, or a similar role is ideal. Training on BlueWave-specific systems will be provided.
• 1+ years project coordination experience: Able to manage multiple technical components and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Problem-solving mindset: You stay persistent in the face of challenges and work collaboratively to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Strong communicator: You’re clear, professional, and proactive across both phone and email, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
• Highly organized: You excel at keeping cross-functional teams and project tasks on track and moving forward.
• Customer-first approach: You care deeply about delivering smooth deployments and excellent support throughout the customer experience.

Relevant Skills (Preferred):

• SQL and database migration/management
• Networking - including router, switch, computer, and virtual machine (VM) configuration. 
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration
• Project management and organization through ClickUp and Google Workspace.
• Remote customer support and troubleshooting (phone/email)
