Job Description

Job Summary:

Sea Fox Boat Company is seeking a highly organized and driven Shipping Supervisor to lead our shipping team in the final phase of boat production. This individual will oversee the preparation and shipment of boats to dealerships nationwide, ensuring all units meet quality standards, daily/weekly quotas, and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of 3–6 employees, including loaders, detailers, patchers, and installers.

  • Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure boats meet all inspection criteria before shipment.

  • Plan and manage daily and weekly shipping schedules to meet production and revenue targets.

  • Coordinate with parts and installation teams to complete any final outfitting or accessory installation.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping yard and staging area.

  • Communicate clearly with upper management, production, and dealership contacts regarding status updates, priorities, and delivery schedules.

  • Address and resolve any issues that may delay shipments or compromise quality.

  • Track shipment data, update records, and ensure proper documentation is submitted.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce delays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/logistics or production supervision; marine or manufacturing industry preferred.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of shipping procedures, loading equipment, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to lift, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
