Job Description

Overview:

The Senior Software Tester will be responsible for testing Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, developing test plans, and generating detailed test reports. This role involves close collaboration with design engineers, software developers, and hardware engineers to ensure the seamless operation of PSIM software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, incorporating functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Test Execution & Defect Management: Design and execute test cases, track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the testing process and implement mitigation strategies.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate clear testing reports, analyze results, and provide recommendations for software improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and product owners to align testing efforts with project goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor software testers, assigning tasks and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Software Testing Expertise (3-5 years): Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including test case design and defect tracking.
• Leadership Experience (1-2 years): Ability to manage and guide a testing team, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and testing frameworks.
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide data-driven insights.
