Position Overview: As an Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of our products throughout the manufacturing process. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital in identifying defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing supplier documentation, certificates of conformity, and material certifications for compliance.
  • Perform inspections on materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products.
  • Utilize measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess product quality and functionality.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
  • Ensure that non-conforming materials are properly tagged, segregated, and documented for further action.
  • Identify defects or non-conformance issues and communicate findings to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with production to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis.
  • Provide feedback on inspection processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with other inspectors and quality assurance personnel to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss quality performance and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
