Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical centers and it's procedures. This role is vital in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the practice, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, including financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Implement and monitor utilization management strategies to optimize patient flow and resource use.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including managed care requirements.
  • Review and approval of employee’s timecards and approving personal time off (PTO) requests on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to improve operational efficiency in both acute care and outpatient settings.
  • Develop policies and procedures to enhance practice performance and patient safety.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive teamwork and effective patient care.

Skills

  • Proven experience in managing a medical center.
  • Strong knowledge of utilization management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
  • Understanding of managed care operations and acute care environments.
