Job Description

We are a Freight Forwarding company specializing in air freight export from the United States, based at JFK Airport, and we’re looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team! If you have experience in air freight exports and are passionate about providing top-tier service to our clients, we’d love to hear from you.

• Work in the operations department to assist clients with all aspects of air freight export.
• Collect export documentation from exporters to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate cargo pick-ups with trucking companies to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
• Manage airline bookings for export shipments and communicate effectively with airline representatives.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of all export documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering solutions to logistical challenges.
• Maintain a smooth flow of operations while ensuring compliance with TSA, CBP, and Department of Commerce regulations.
• Support with tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.

• 1-5 years of experience in air freight export or logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of export operations and compliance with TSA, CBP, and Department of Commerce regulations.
• Proficiency with Cargowise software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in paperwork and data entry.
