About the Role:

As their Information Security Manager, you will be the architect of their cybersecurity strategy. Reporting directly to the IT Director, you'll lead the charge in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security protocols, controls, and incident response strategies. This hybrid role, based in Dallas, Texas, offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe.

What You'll Do:

  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of their security framework, including protocols, controls, and incident response.
  • Craft and enforce information security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough post-incident analysis.
  • Empower their employees through engaging cybersecurity awareness training programs.
  • Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to ensure security is integrated into all new projects and systems.
  • Manage and optimize network security tools, firewalls, anti-virus software, and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for all IT assets.
  • Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and consultants.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, including at least 2 years in a management or lead role.
  • Deep understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in security operations, vulnerability management, network security, and incident response.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desired.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively across departments.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in hybrid or cloud-centric IT environments, particularly Azure Active Directory and cloud security.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards like GDPR, CCPA, or other industry-specific regulations.
