Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 base salary + equity + tokens

About the Role

Our client, a venture-backed startup, is building a transformative DeFi platform that combines decentralized finance with innovative social engagement. With significant funding and plans to scale rapidly, they are looking for Full Stack Engineers to join their foundational team. This is a rare opportunity to work on a groundbreaking product at the forefront of blockchain and decentralized technology.

For US-based candidates, the company is establishing a New York office to expand their presence and enable collaboration stateside.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features using React and Next.js, delivering a seamless, high-quality user experience.
• Design and implement scalable, efficient backend systems using SQL for data management and Solana for blockchain integration.
• Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to create innovative, impactful features aligned with the product roadmap.
• Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability as the user base grows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and overall technical strategy for both frontend and backend systems.
• Work closely with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS ) to enable smooth deployment and operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an early employee or founder in a startup, showcasing adaptability, ownership, and initiative.
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js , with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
• Proficient with SQL for backend database management and querying.
• Must be willing to work on-site in London or on-site in New York (once the office opens).
• A passion for DeFi, blockchain technology, and building solutions in high-growth environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with NestJS or comparable backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud architecture best practices.
• experience working with Solana in a development capacity.
