Shabby Fabrics is an e-commerce business and is growing rapidly! We have added many new positions as we are expanding our team!

As you peruse ShabbyFabrics.com, every product you see (and the information and images contained therein) was created by our Web Catalog Specialist team. This position is a unique opportunity for someone who can wear multiple hats - you will be creating graphics and color-correcting images in Photoshop, working on spreadsheets and data entry, writing product descriptions, assigning product locations in our warehouse, creating and sending emails, optimizing upsells and related products for existing products on our website, and more!

Job Summary

· Accurately and efficiently create product listings on our website to make them available for consumers to buy - this includes graphic design, creative writing, data entry, and categorization

· Scan and color-correct images to accurately portray the product

· Categorize products appropriately and populate SEO and keywords to optimize search results

· Select add-ons and similar products to maximize sales

· Use Photoshop to create or manipulate product images and add logos when necessary

· Adhere to style guides and SOPs to maintain consistency throughout the website

· Identify product discrepancies and confirm correct information using multiple sources

· Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Excellent written communication skills including spelling, punctuation, and word choice

· Exceptional attention to detail, naturally inquisitive

· Experience working on a Mac Computer

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to change directions quickly

· Must be a self-starter / motivated with minimal supervision

· Must be able to distinguish between colors accurately

· Must be able to create visually pleasing graphics using templates

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Photoshop required

· Familiarity with SEO

· Familiarity with basic marketing

· Special consideration for candidates with experience in color corrections and/or color theory

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to distinguish between colors

Schedule

This is a full time, non-exempt position with a set schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. This position can not be performed remotely.
