Urgent Opportunity: Warehouse Manager

Smith’s Plumbing Services, one of the leading plumbing service providers in the Midsouth for over 15 years, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will ensure our technicians are fully equipped to deliver top-notch service to our customers while enjoying a range of fantastic benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Procurement

• Manage all material purchasing, returns, and warranty processes
• Optimize truck stock layout and replenishment schedules
• Maintain up-to-date material pricing in Service Titan
• Work closely with supply houses to secure the best prices and availability
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels and replenishment cycles
• Facilitate part runner dispatching for efficient field support
• Develop and manage the buyback program for excess inventory

Fleet & Asset Management

• Oversee new truck setups and inventory installation
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, tracking, and repairs
• Track and manage tools, equipment, and vehicle assets
• Tie asset data to company depreciation schedules

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse staff activities to ensure productivity and safety
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
• Conduct safety training, manage PPE, and perform regular safety inspections
• Create annual budgets and manage department expenses
• Track KPIs and performance goals for all staff involved in inventory

Technology & Support

• Use Service Titan to manage material tracking and costs
• Utilize Slack for communication and job coordination
• Support field teams with research and staging of next day installs

What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years of warehouse or operations management experience.
• Experience with inventory management software (Service Titan preferred).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license required.
