Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Video Teller to join a prestigious banking institution in Oregon. The ideal candidate will engage with customers through interactive teller software, ensuring exceptional service while processing financial transactions and addressing customer inquiries. This role involves educating customers about available products and services to enhance their financial wellness. The Video Teller will use consultative selling techniques to identify opportunities, build relationships, and recommend products and services that align with customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, maintaining a professional on-screen presence and fostering positive interactions.
  • Represent the bank in a friendly, professional manner, making eye contact and demonstrating a genuine willingness to help.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and confidential service while accurately processing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance.
  • Maintain and balance a virtual cash drawer, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Develop technological skills for operating Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) and maintain knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Offer loan products and business partner services, making referrals to specialists in other departments.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly and accurately, providing effective solutions.
  • Educate customers on self-service options and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures by confirming customer identification before processing transactions.
  • Utilize risk mitigation controls and apply fraud prevention measures to address potential risks.
  • Balance daily transactions, resolve discrepancies, and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Meet established performance goals and service levels, continuously improving through training and development.
  • Participate in coaching sessions and peer-to-peer training to enhance skills and service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and assist them through various channels, including video conferencing. Comfort with being on camera is essential.
  • Proficiency in operating multiple computer systems simultaneously, including the Interactive Teller Machine and the bank's transaction processing system.
  • Strong decision-making skills related to account management and operational procedures.
  • Ability to learn and maintain thorough knowledge of the bank's products and services.
  • Adaptability to process, product, and workflow changes while remaining flexible to unexpected events or shifting priorities.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive pay range from $22 to $25 per hour, reflecting the applicant's experience and skills.
