Position Overview:
The Sommelier Bartender will serve as the bridge between our curated wine selection and our award winning beer offerings. You will be responsible for engaging guests with your expert knowledge, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring that every beverage served is a work of art. Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience:
  • Engage with guests, offering tailored recommendations that highlight the unique characteristics of our wine and cocktail selections.
  • Share your expertise in wine regions, varietals, and pairing suggestions to enhance the dining and drinking experience.
• Beverage Management:
  • Curate and manage an extensive wine list and beer menu, ensuring that our offerings remain fresh, innovative, and aligned with seasonal trends.
  • Oversee inventory, order supplies, and collaborate with vendors to source high-quality products.
• Mixology & Service:
  • Prepare and serve cocktails with precision, creativity, and flair, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at the bar.
• Collaboration & Training:
  • Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to create cohesive dining experiences.
  • Train junior staff on wine service, cocktail preparation, and guest interaction techniques.
• Event Support:
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events, tastings, and promotions that highlight our beverage program.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sommelier, Bartender, or in a similar role within upscale hospitality environments.
• Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixology trends.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality in both service and presentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Certification from a recognized sommelier or bartending program is a plus.
