Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of large-scale Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) project. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including owners, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership – Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of WWTP construction projects.
  • Budget & Cost Control – Develop and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to ensure financial performance.
  • Scheduling & Coordination – Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring seamless coordination between design, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Contract Management – Administer contracts, review change orders, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, local/state codes, and project specifications.
  • Safety Management – Promote and enforce job site safety, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams, providing project updates and resolving issues.
  • Risk Management – Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on WWTP, water, or heavy civil infrastructure projects .
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects ranging from $100M+ in value.
  • Strong understanding of treatment process systems, mechanical piping, structural concrete, and earthwork .
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build and CMAR is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software (P6, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes .
  • Ability to travel as needed for project assignments.
