Selby Jennings is seeking a Junior Analyst for a prestigious $8 billion AUM real estate private equity firm in Dallas.

This dynamic fund specializes in multifamily, self-storage, and hospitality assets, offering the Junior Analyst exposure to all three asset classes. Renowned for its excellence in asset management and investment services, the firm has achieved significant success within the hospitality sector.

Position Details:

• Entry Level: Ideal for fresh graduates with real estate internship experience.
• Maximum Experience: 1 year.

Responsibilities:

• Analytics and Strategy: Support the acquisition team with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
• Financial Modeling: Develop forecasts, budgets, and ad hoc models for hotel acquisitions, and prepare supporting materials.
• Communication: Engage extensively with stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure project alignment.
• Persistence: Proactively follow up with team members and external contacts to obtain required answers and information.

Qualifications:

• Internships: Experience in real estate private equity, particularly in hospitality.
• Strong GPA: 3.7 or higher. Demonstrated academic excellence, including high rankings and positive mid-year reviews.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
• Financial Modeling: Extensive experience in financial modeling, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and collaborate with professionals across the organization.
