Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and cost-effectively. The Production Planner will work closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams to optimize workflow and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability
• Monitor production progress and resolve issues that may cause delays or shortages
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
• Coordinate with manufacturing and warehouse teams to align production capacity with scheduling requirements
• Analyze production data and prepare reports on key metrics (e.g., output, efficiency, schedule adherence)
• Adjust planning strategies based on sales trends, new product introductions, and other variables
• Maintain accurate records of production plans and communicate changes to all relevant departments
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline production planning and reduce lead times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar Clerical role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and production processes
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
