Position Overview: Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Debt Analyst to join the team in Chicago. The successful candidate will play a critical role in evaluating and managing debt financing opportunities for high-growth companies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management and gain exposure to various aspects of private debt financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential borrowers.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and risk profiles of high-growth companies.
• Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for investment committees.
• Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with loan agreements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure and negotiate loan terms.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to inform investment decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for investors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, investment banking, or private debt.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 1st Lien term loans or similar debt products.
• Knowledge of high-growth industries and market dynamics.
• CFA or CPA designation is a plus.
