Pinkston Strategic Communications Internships - "Expect Different"
Our nine-week internship provides world-class training and real-world experience in the core elements of Strategic Communications. The internship offers the unique opportunity to engage with and learn from Pinkston Partners, Executive Thought Leaders, and personal mentors. Our goal is to create a memorable and compelling experience for every intern while preparing the next generation of Strategic Communications leaders for a future in our industry. Pinkston has limited paid intern positions, which we reserve for rising and current college seniors. Historically, 70% of our interns join us for full-time positions after graduation.
Our intern program at Pinkston consists of high-achieving students from all over the nation who are acutely interested in public relations, graphic design, web strategy, marketing, research, or writing and have an accompanying desire to change their world as future leaders. We encourage our interns to “Expect Different” as they prepare for a Pinkston Internship as we deliver on our primary guiding principle, "People Matter Most." Each intern will follow an exclusive proprietary training plan, forge meaningful relationships with our team and fellow interns, and be assigned a personal mentor. Pinkston interns will launch their careers with world-class training and practical, real-life experience. During the program, interns will learn the foundational aspects of strategic communications through mentorship, weekly subject-matter-expert-led workshops, and assignments.
Time Frame- Pinkston’s Strategic Communications Internship for the Summer of 2025 (nine weeks) will begin on June 2nd and will be completed on July 31st. June 30th through July 4th will be the only week provided for interns to take vacation (optional); the expectation is that interns will attend the other eight weeks of the training program.
Graphic Design- Pinkston’s Design interns collaborate with our creative team to develop visually compelling and strategic designs that support client branding and communication goals that inspire action and deliver results. Interns gain hands-on experience working on various projects, including digital assets, visual storytelling, UX/UI design, print materials, and branding elements, while sharpening their design skills in a collaborative environment.
