Job Title: PC Support Technician

Location : St. Paul, MN 55108

On-site 5 days per week

Contract role - 4-5 months

Client work authorization requirements: US Citizen or GC holder

• Experience imaging computers using deployment tools with Intune
• Ability to manage and update IT support tickets effectively
• Attention to detail, and ability to consistently follow a process including thorough documentation of relevant details in tickets.

We are looking for a detail-oriented PC Support Technician to assist with imaging, cleaning, and shipping computer equipment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT tickets, and ensuring proper handling and packaging of equipment for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Computer Imaging: Configure and deploy computer systems using standardized imaging software.
• Ticket Management: Update and track IT support tickets, adding detailed notes, and ensuring timely resolution of requests.
• Equipment Handling: Package, label, and ship computer hardware, accessories, and peripherals.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
• System Updates: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and essential applications.
• End User Support: Assist employees with login issues, printer setups, and basic IT questions.
• Collaboration: Work with other IT professionals to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience imaging computers using Intune deployment tool
• Ability to manage and update IT support tickets effectively
• Attention to detail, and ability to consistently follow a process including thorough documentation of relevant details in tickets.
• Hands-on experience with PC packaging, labeling, and shipping processes
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and business applications
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues independently

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or IT certification preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in PC imaging, IT support, and equipment handling
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ or related IT credentials (preferred)

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $20.00 - $25.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
