🚛 Now Hiring: Night Dispatcher & Ops Support (Operations Assistant) – Truckload Freight Brokerage 🌙

Location: On-Site – Kansas City, MO

Shift: Nights (Mon- Fri 5 PM – 9 PM & Sat 8 AM - 11AM)

Employment Type: Part-Time

🚨 What You’ll Do

Monitor and support active loads overnight to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
Proactively communicate with carriers, drivers, and our internal account managers
Troubleshoot issues, delays, and service failures as they arise
Update internal systems with real-time load status and notes
Provide backup operational support to our daytime brokerage team
Maintain calm under pressure and make sound decisions

🎯 What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in truckload dispatch or freight brokerage required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment
Tech-savvy with TMS and load tracking platforms (e.g. TruckerTools, Macropoint, )
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently overnight
Follow detailed risk mitigation processes to prevent cargo claims, fraud and cargo theft
