Job Title: Network Support Technician

Job Type: 6 Month Contract to Direct.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and clients.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
• Windows 10 deployment
• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to ensure security and reliability.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Previous MSP experience preferred by not required
• Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Network Technician or similar role
• Bachelor's degree preferred by not required in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with firewall management and security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
