Job Description

Meet is excited to be partnered with one of our longest standing clients on a new Medical Writer opportunity! The team is growing and looking for Medical Writers with circa 1 year of experience working within Medical Communications, experience with Publications + Medical Affairs deliverables ideal.

As a Medical Writer, you will contribute scientific expertise to a variety of medical communications projects, ensuring content is accurate and meets high grammatical standards. You will adapt content to client objectives for diverse audiences and subject areas, collaborate with medical experts, and stay updated on therapeutic areas, publication practices, and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a wide range of medical communications projects with a focus on scientific accuracy and clarity.
  • Tailor content and style according to client objectives for diverse target audiences and subject areas.
  • Collaborate with medical experts to ensure the quality and accuracy of content.
  • Stay current with developments in therapeutic areas and industry standards, including publication practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of grammatical and scientific accuracy in all written materials.

Requirements:

  • A degree in life sciences, ideally combined with a science Masters or PhD.
  • Approximately one year of experience in a medical communication agency in a writing role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in standard software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe, Excel).
