Title: Medical Device Cleaning Associate

Hours: 3rd shift: 11pm-7:30am
Location : Wilmington, DE
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Candidates should possess knowledge of medical supply items, decontamination procedures, aseptic techniques, and the operation of sterilization equipment
• Experience in processing, assembling, and sterilizing medical supplies and equipment
• Knowledge of technical names, general uses, physical characteristics, and operating conditions of medical supply items
• Skill in operating washer-sterilizers, ultrasonic instrument cleaners, and gas and steam sterilizers
• Experience working as an operating room technician, medical instrument technician, nursing assistant, corpsman, laboratory worker, or something similar
• Successful completion of 2 years of study that included at least 12 semester hours in courses
Associates are expected to come on-site and perform updated sterilization protocol for newly installed infusion pumps at Nemours Children's hospital.
