Job Description

Travel ACU/ Telemetry Registered Nurse, with Benefits, needed for our Adult Telemetry unit at Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, an IHS facility, located in Chinle, AZ. This is a long term Travel Nursing role.

The ideal RN candidate will possess strong clinical skills, Acute care experience, Telemetry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards.

• 12-hour shifts

• Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Progressive Care experience needed

• 2 years experience as an RN required
• Can work on any US license
• must be a US citizen
• BLS, ACLS required

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform procedures such as catheterization, medical imaging, and other interventions as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Experience
Candidates should have a valid nursing license with experience in an Acute Care setting. Telemetry or Progressive care experience needed. Familiarity with computer charting systems. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.
