Position : Maintenance Manager

Location : Louisville, Kentucky

Duration : Direct Placement

OT : need to be available to the plant 24/7 on call

Compensation: $90,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related
• 5-7 years of experience within manufacturing facility
• 5-7 years of experience as a technical manager
• Experience managing projects and mentoring & growing people on their team
• MS Office, CMMS Systems, and ERP system experience (SAP or Oracle)
• Must be able to work in environment with allergens – nuts, coconuts, mixed ingredients and toppings, baking goods, etc.
• Must be physically fit for the manufacturing environments

Plusses:

• Ammonia systems experience & compliance requirements
• Experience with GMP, FDA Standards, International Food Standards (IFS), American Institute of Baking Standards (AIB), Hazard Analysis and Critical Controls Points Programs (HACCP), relevant OSHA and EPA standards
• Food Industry experience
• CMRP certification

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Manager in the Louisville, Kentucky area. The Maintenance Manager oversees all aspects of equipment reliability and building maintenance across the entire manufacturing site. This role ensures that all plant equipment operates reliably and safely, meeting both internal and external compliance requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities include managing and coordinating various outside contractors, vendors, and consultants. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager is tasked with developing and implementing formal training and development programs for the salaried maintenance team and maintenance technicians with diverse skill sets.

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Lead plant maintenance and reliability operations, ensuring all assets are properly maintained.
• Develop and improve a business plan for effective scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Manage team performance through maintenance KPIs.
• Oversee labor and MRO parts budgets, achieving capital spending targets.
• Manage plant and capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring long-term asset sustainability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with other plant functional groups.
• Ensure team safety and adherence to GMP and food safety practices.
• Audit and correct safety hazards and OSHA violations.
• Develop team skills through coaching and training programs.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment.
• Follow corporate and plant policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
