We are seeking a Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient care at a modern 46-bed acute care hospital in Great Falls, MT. You'll work alongside a well-established team of hospitalists, nocturnists, and specialists in a state-of-the-art facility offering a full range of surgical and medical services. Assignment Details:
Full-time locum tenens position
Block schedule: 7-on / 7-off, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
No night call — dedicated nocturnists on staff
Daily hospitalist census averages 15 patients
1:5 nursing ratio, adjusted by patient acuity
Telemedicine support for critical care/pulmonology
On-site support from medical and surgical specialists
Preferred Skills: Comfort with the following procedures is preferred, though not required:Central line placement, Intubation and Arterial line insertion.
Facility Highlights:
36 inpatient beds and a 10-bed open ICU
2 catheterization labs with an 8-bed pre/post-procedure care unit
5 in-hospital ORs, 4 outpatient ORs in adjacent surgery center
5 observation beds and 8-bed Emergency Department staffed with experienced clinicians
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active or eligible Montana medical license
Strong clinical skills and a team-oriented mindset
Must be reliable, communicative, and flexible in a dynamic hospital setting
