Legal Assistant

Location: Seattle, WA (1 day WFH)

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 DOE + Annual Raises & Bonuses

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our client’s growing Evictions & Landlord-Tenant Litigation team in their Seattle office . This role is primarily focused on litigation support, with a small portion of work dedicated to our cannabis transactions team. You will work closely with a Managing Attorney (based in Tampa, FL), an Associate Attorney in Seattle, and a Paralegal .

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with litigation preparation, including pleading preparation, e-filing in Washington courts, and court communications
• Provide calendaring support, managing schedules in Outlook and our proprietary firm system
• Help with legal drafting when needed by the paralegal
• Attend hearings with attorneys (a plus)
• General administrative and organizational support for the legal team

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of legal assistant experience with a strong background in litigation support
• Proficiency in e-filing in Washington courts and familiarity with court procedures
• Experience in preparing pleadings, litigation prep, and court communications
• Strong organizational and calendaring skills (Outlook & proprietary firm systems)
• Some legal drafting experience
• Ability to work full-time in-office, with the option to work remotely 1 day per week after a 30-40 day training period
