Our client company is a Seattle and Silicon Valley-based multi-asset investment management firm. They span across the globe and invest and manage across different asset classes, including real estate (acquisition, development, and property management) and venture (early to late-stage technology companies). Their property management arm is seeking a full-time Leasing Agent to join their team, focusing on apartment communities in the greater Seattle area. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, leadership, and a customer-first approach to all aspects of leasing and tenant engagement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Managing leasing efforts for assigned apartment communities, ensuring high occupancy levels and tenant satisfaction.
• Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries via various channels, including online platforms, phone, and in-person.
• Conducting thorough property tours and effectively communicating the value and features of the communities.
• Guiding prospective tenants through the application, screening, and leasing processes.
• Leading lease renewals and fostering strong tenant relationships to ensure retention.
• Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and implement outreach campaigns to generate leads.
• Maintaining accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions using property management software (Yardi).
• Staying informed on local market trends, collaborating with marketing team to prepare comparative market survey and analysis options, and providing insight for marketing and pricing strategies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proven track record in residential leasing with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in property management software, such as Yardi, and CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Experience in managing leasing operations for multi-family apartment communities.
• Familiarity with Washington rental laws and regulations, more specifically King County.
