Job Description

Our client, a boutique private equity firm specializing in retail real estate investments , is seeking an Investment Manager to play a key role in acquisitions and asset management. This role is 70% focused on acquisitions and 30% on asset management , offering a dynamic opportunity to source, underwrite, and manage assets across the firm’s portfolio of commercial assets (industrial, retail, office and mixed-use).

Responsibilities:

• Lead deal sourcing, underwriting, and due diligence for acquisitions.
• Conduct financial modeling and market analysis to assess investment opportunities.
• Negotiate LOIs, purchase agreements, and debt financing terms.
• Assist in structuring joint ventures and capital partnerships.
• Oversee business plan execution for existing assets, including leasing strategies and capital improvements.
• Monitor asset performance, prepare investor reports, and optimize portfolio returns.
• Collaborate with property management and leasing teams to maximize NOI.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, asset management, or investment analysis, preferably in commercial assets (not multifamily).
• Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and market research skills.
• Experience negotiating real estate transactions and managing investment strategies.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
