Overview

Starting Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Intern-Accounting to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities

Support the Accounting Team for the following tasks and projects:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting procedures
• Requisition review and entry into enterprise resource planning tool
• Capital Expenditure reporting
• Coordinate process and procedure documentation creation and maintenance
• Assist with data gathering for Finance Reporting
• Assist with ensuring proper SOX documentation is maintained on location
• Other special projects as needed

Qualifications

Completed a minimum of 2-3 years of Accounting coursework, working towards a BS in Accounting. This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
