Job Description

TRIO has an immediate opening for a Designer in our Commercial/Multi-family Division. The position is full-time with benefits included. We are seeking an innovative, hardworking creative specializing in Commercial and Multi-Family projects with 4+ years of experience in the design industry. Looking for an individual with strong skills in all phases of design; developing design concepts and presentations, space planning, furniture specifications, installation of projects, construction documents, contract administration, and preparing projects schedules. The position requires strong Revit skills, knowledge of building codes, construction management, and interior design drawings.

This position requires experience working with large scale amenities, resort style clubhouses, sales offices, spas, and restaurants. This individual works as a collaborative team member on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design solutions.

The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented with a good understanding of construction documents and millwork; and have the ability to complete a full construction drawing set and experience with furniture and fabrics specifications. Candidate must have strong Revit and Photoshop skills. Must also possess very strong creative passion, organization, communication, and time management skills with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in commercial interiors.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience
  • Highly proficient in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites)
  • Ability to complete a full construction drawing set
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture and fabric specifications
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel as necessary
