Job Description

SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for providing operational support to the sales team at Kibar Americas (KA).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Address all customer needs and provide quick solutions to service-related requirements in coordination with Sales team members

• Manage order entries and provide order confirmations to customers

• Review customer specifications and ensure material ordered meets customer requirements

• Receive and review sales orders for accuracy and completeness according to company policies across all product and order types

• Submit sales orders to fulfillment within established company SLAs

• Maintain updated customer information in the SAP system

• Generate and supply reports to sales team and customers outlining open orders and inventory on hand

• Manage Kibar Americas consignment inventory and enter new orders according to customer pipeline • Ensure coordination between Sales and Supply Chain departments

• Follow up with the Production Planning team and proactively notify customers and sales of any changes and/or delays that may affect ability to meet commitments and discuss potential solutions • Organize shipments for finished goods and follow up on the status of shipping materials

• Prepare monthly shipment plans, daily reports, and weekly shipment realization records

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, or related field

• Two years of professional work experience handling responsibilities comparable to those outlined above

• Experience working in wholesale, manufacturing, aluminum, or similar industry

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams • Fluency in English required, fluency in Turkish is a plus

• This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

• Knowledge of best practices for sales operations and customer satisfaction

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Sound judgment, professional maturity, and effective decision-making skills

• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships

• Ability to effectively utilize formulas, pivot tables, and V-look up in MS Excel

• Ability to apply analytical thinking skills to synthesize information and understand the big picture • Willingness to contribute to a positive work environment

• Competent project management skills needed to manage timelines and competing priorities

• Ability to anticipate obstacles, recognize problems, and implement efficient problem-solving methods

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is based in a professional environment in Chicago, Illinois and requires work to be performed remotely as well as within the office space. The working hours are generally 8:00 AM CT to 5:00 PM CT but will require periodic work outside of normal business hours as well as occasional travel both during and outside of normal business hours. The role involves the routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, printers, and phones, as well as virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom. The physical demands must be met by an employee to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of this job consistent with federal, state, and local standards, as well as company productivity standards.
