Project Manager (HVAC Controls)
Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for guiding customers toward a BMS solution that provides the best value & outcome for our customers. This person is ASG's chief problem solver with the task of making BMS solution implementation a straightforward & low-frustration process for both ASG and its customers. The PM must be an understanding & responsive point of contact for the contract holders, end users, & other trades.[CF1] The Project Manager will be mentored and trained by the Senior Project Managers and the VP in charge of PMs. This position will have an immediate and lasting impact on the success of ASG.

Job Responsibilities
Actively develop business opportunities for ASG
Sales/estimating of BMS projects for new & existing customers
Meet with customers to understand needs & constraints
Quickly respond to customer pricing requests
Project Management
Oversee project execution by coordinating manpower, materials, & engineering
Actively respond to customer inquiries and requests
Assist with the construction closeout process
Improve & maintain operations
Assist with field coordination / tech deployment
Ensure project billing and receivables are completed in a timely manner
Track material & labor cost for to ensure project is completed at or under budget
Promote knowledge sharing between engineering & construction personnel
Other duties as needed to meet the goals stated above
Education & Experience Requirements/Preferences[CF1]
Required: BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
Preferred: 4 - 6+ years of related (HVAC, building controls, construction) work experience
Strong leadership experience
Able to operate independently and autonomously
Advanced understanding of HVAC operation & controls
Experience with Automated Logic Controls
Technical Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of all HVAC systems as it relates to controls.
Advanced knowledge of control systems and design principles.
Ability to interpret HVAC mechanical plans and specifications.
Good project visualization and schematic design skills required.
Competence with Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in technical writing.
Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Mechanical aptitude and engineering common sense is a necessity.
Knowledge of Automated Logic ecosystem a plus.

Be able to work on multiple projects in parallel with varying schedule constraints.

Must have a valid California Driver's License and a clean record.
