Careers Graphic Designer (Entry-Level) Round Rock, Texas Garver is hiring an entry-level Graphic Designer to join our Transportation Strategic Communications team to support in visually translating ideas and messaging into a variety of deliverables. This position will be located in Round Rock, TX. The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities. A strong sense of teamwork and know how to prioritize duties to meet deadlines are required. This is a fast-paced role with varying day-to-day responsibilities, giving you the chance to be creative in delivering messages and imagery in tasks such as: Designing visual assets that enhance clarity and professionalism in business communications, including reports, presentations, and internal and external strategic messaging Creating graphics for web and print collateral that align with brand standards Building vector Illustrations, such as infographics and project maps Developing, conceptualizing, and collaboratively working with the team to create visually appealing content Photo-editing Coordinating production of materials, copyediting/drafting written materials, and producing reports Offering creative ideas, process improvements, and technological solutions to expand the team’s abilities Candidates must submit a cover letter with their application to be considered for the position. Requirements: ~ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field (ie graphic design, media arts, visual communication, etc.) ~ Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), specifically on Microsoft Windows operating system ~ Strong written, graphical, and verbal communication skills ~ Ability to effectively prioritize and manage work, problem solve, and execute tasks on schedule ~ Ability to work as a member of a team in a collaborative environment. ~ Comfortable working and speaking with employees in different departments across the organization. ~ Excellent attention to detail – particularly in incorporating feedback and edits from multiple team members ~0-1 years of work history in a corporate environment ~ Advanced understanding of MS Office software including Word and PowerPoint Grow With Us Garver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
