Research & Opportunity Identification
Identify and evaluate grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies

Monitor grant databases (e.g., Grants.gov, Foundation Directory Online)

Assess alignment between funder priorities and the nonprofit's mission and programs

Track deadlines and submission requirements

✍️ Proposal Development & Writing
Write compelling, mission-aligned grant proposals and letters of inquiry

Develop clear, persuasive narratives that highlight the impact of youth programs

Collaborate with program staff to gather data, success stories, and program outcomes

Prepare supporting documents, including budgets, logic models, and attachments

Budgeting & Compliance
Work with finance and program teams to develop accurate project budgets

Ensure proposals meet funder guidelines and compliance requirements

Track grant deliverables and reporting deadlines

Reporting & Stewardship
Prepare and submit timely grant reports and updates to funders

Maintain organized records of submitted, pending, and awarded grants

Provide regular updates to leadership on grant status and outcomes

Collaboration & Communication
Coordinate with program directors, youth mentors, and administrative staff

Attend team meetings to stay informed about program developments

Cultivate relationships with funders and grant officers when appropriate

Strategic Development
Stay informed on trends in youth development, faith-based funding, and nonprofit philanthropy

Recommend new funding strategies or partnerships to expand impact

Contribute to the organization's overall fundraising and sustainability plan

Salary: $ 25.00 Per Hour
