Job Description
A large trailer lease company is seeking a General Manager for their Manheim location. This position is responsible for hands-on leadership of the Lease and Rental division, blending business acumen, strategic sales growth, operational excellence, and team development. The role encompasses leading, managing, and ensuring accountability (LMA), overseeing sales management, income statement management, capital expenditures, and operations and processes.
The essential duties include developing and executing short and long-term strategies to scale the lease and rental division, leading with a “Why-first” mindset to strengthen legacy processes, challenge inefficiencies, and align actions with business outcomes. The role requires balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution to ensure efficiency and consistency across operations. Championing a customer-centric culture, the leader will deliver flexible, responsive, and value-driven leasing solutions. Providing direction to the sales team to grow revenue with a focus on profitability, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and understanding customer pain points to develop sales solutions are crucial aspects of the job. The leader will drive accountability and performance through EOS tools and Core Values, bring leadership and direction to PSL team members with a strong focus on continuous improvement, and work in unison with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring PSL contributes effectively to company-wide objectives. Collaboration with the CFO to develop and manage the annual budget, forecast financial performance, and ensure alignment with company profitability and growth targets is also essential.
Compensation :
$110,000/year to $130,000/year plus end of year bonus.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
