Job Description

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Technical Assessment Group. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct diagnostic evaluations of equipment, create detailed reports, and collaborate with the sales team to suggest and implement operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic evaluations of equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or improvements.
• Create comprehensive reports detailing the findings of diagnostic evaluations, including recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical insights and support in order to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
• Suggest and implement operational improvements based on diagnostic findings and industry best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technological advancements, and company products.
• Provide training and support to other team members and customers as needed.
• Ensure all diagnostic evaluations and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Technical Assessment Group.

Responsibilities

• Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
• Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
• Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
• Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Field Service or Technical Sales Background
• Ability to travel 50%+
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience with Pulp & Paper and/or Power Generation Plants is a plus.
