Job Title: Data Analyst/Engineering Tech

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Environment:ONSITE

Duration: 6+ month contract

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in measurement data management and analysis
• Oil & Gas or manufacturing background; LNG or pipeline preferred
• Preferred previous measurement analyst or measurement technician experience
• Familiarity with FLOWCAL and pipeline EBBs preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency or familiarity with Power BI will support enhancing data visualization and reporting capabilities, although not essential for the role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in measurement data management and analysis within the oil and gas industry. This role involves retrieving and entering third-party measurement data, performing measurement analysis, and providing administrative support to ensure accurate and efficient data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Third-Party Measurement
• Retrieve daily measurement statements from pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs)
• Enter third-party measurement data into FLOWCAL daily
• Ensure data is transferred into the commercial system (QuickNom)

Measurement Analysis

• Compare third-party statements with FLOWCAL reports for custody/verification purposes
• Prepare preliminary daily pipeline system balance reports for Engineering review

Administrative support

• PM Screening for Pass/Fails prior to requiring further engineering review
• Potential for further use for running reports and making suggestions for Test Interval Optimization (TIOT) to increase/decrease the testing frequencies
• Generate and compile metrics and reports for Reliability and Integrity management systems to support program analysis and decision-making; establish integrated dashboards
• Help with Enablon data entry for the reliability events investigation details (as needed) and any metrics/reporting associated with follow up action items coming out of the system
• General Administrative support: Purchase requisition through SAP, Documents/Information management support
