Job Description

Job Overview:

The Corporate Finance Director will be responsible for leading equity capital markets fundraising (private and public) transactions and managing investor relations activities for Vingroup and its member companies, with a primary focus on electric vehicle (EV) sector. The role includes overseeing financial modeling and valuation, engaging with investors, preparing key management materials, and managing the due diligence process for transactions. The Director will also handle post-completion transaction monitoring, including compliance and reporting, as well as other financial tasks assigned by senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute equity capital markets fundraising transactions (private and public) and manage investor relations activities for group companies across assigned sectors.
  • Oversee financial modeling and valuation, including building company models from scratch for group companies in assigned sectors.
  • Coordinate and attend investor meetings, develop investor engagement strategies, and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare management presentations, offering circulars, investor presentations, annual reports, and other documents as requested by shareholders, investors, and management.
  • Coordinate both internal and external teams to lead the due diligence process and manage transaction documentation.
  • Monitor post-completion transactions, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  • Conduct market research, sector analysis, and monitor stock movements to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Relevant Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
  • At least 12 years of experience in advisory, investment (private equity, venture capital), equity research, or roles in investment banks or large corporations, with a focus on fundraising, investor relations, financial planning, and investment activities.
  • Strong understanding of equity capital markets (both public and private), with experience in deal structuring, documentation, and processes.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, with the ability to analyze financial statements and assess business performance.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Strong business judgment and exceptional negotiation skills.
