Job Description

Vaco is looking for a Control Technician to support daily operations by troubleshooting and improving control systems. You'll work hands-on with electrical systems, PLC programming , and HMI systems , helping to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, and HMI control systems
• 
  Support and improve production software and equipment
• 
  Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams
• 
  Maintain and install process control instruments (pneumatic/electronic)
• 
  Track software versions and manage equipment documentation
• 
  Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Requirements:

• 
  High school diploma or GED required (college coursework in electronics/controls is a plus)
• 
  PLC and HMI experience is required
• 
  1-2 years of related hands-on experience (or equivalent)
• 
  Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• 
  Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• 
  Ability to read manuals, follow procedures, and document work clearly
• 
  Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted is $25-$35/hr. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
