Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Sebastian, FL. This is a 35-week contract with the potential for an extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for taking the patient's vital signs, conducting blood drawings, or taking x-rays as certified.
• Responsible for overseeing and participating in the day-to-day clinical care of patients.
• Provide necessary equipment and supplies to support patient care (e.g., DMEs; Accu Checks; testing strips.
• Coordinate and/or conduct pre-visit and/or follow-up preparations to help patients receive comprehensive preventive care (e.g., step calls).

Must have qualifications/experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification.
• Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.
• EMR experience.

Location: Sebastian, FL

Job Duration: Full-time, 35 weeks

Shifts: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Hourly Pay: $21 - $23/hour
