Whether you're a recent graduate eager to learn or a seasoned professional seeking a positive change, we encourage you to apply!

Why Join Us?

We offer a professional and supportive atmosphere with a healthy work-life balance and a positive, team-oriented culture. Recent grads will benefit from our mentorship program, while experienced sonographers will appreciate our strong relationships with the cardiology team, supportive management, and opportunities for professional growth. If you value technical excellence, quality over quantity, and being appreciated for your contributions, this is the place for you!

About the Role:

Under general supervision, you'll perform, analyze, and interpret a range of complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures. This includes transthoracic echoes, treadmill and dobutamine stress echoes, and assisting physicians with transesophageal echo (TEE) procedures. You'll tailor exams to accurately represent cardiac anatomy and pathology, monitor patient vital signs, measure cardiac structures and blood flow, and complete preliminary reports for the reading cardiologist.

Reports To: Echocardiography Supervisor

What You'll Do:

Perform high-quality, complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound exams, following established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Adjust imaging parameters to capture accurate images of cardiac anatomy, function, and blood flow, considering patient history and previous studies.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques like echo contrast, bubble studies, 3D quantification, and myocardial strain imaging, as needed.
Perform echocardiographic studies in the cath lab to guide procedures and evaluate device placement.
Provide stress echo imaging as part of the cardiac stress testing team.
Assist physicians with TEE procedures and other specialized procedures.
Perform accurate measurements and calculations on acquired images.
Summarize patient history, exam measurements, and relevant data to create a preliminary assessment for the cardiologist.
Recognize and immediately alert the cardiologist of critical findings.
Provide excellent patient care, adhering to professional standards and all policies and procedures.
Contribute to your professional development and the development of your colleagues through meetings, training, and case presentations.
Communicate effectively with physicians, colleagues, and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Participate in the training and orientation of sonography students.
Travel to remote clinic sites (up to two hours away) with paid travel expenses.
Participate in equitable on-call rotations.
Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adhere to our standards of behavior and code of conduct.
What You'll Bring:

Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential from CCI (required).
Current BLS certification (required).
Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation (required).
Previous experience as an Adult or Pediatric Echocardiographer, Echo Tech, or Cardiac Sonographer (desired).
New graduates are encouraged to apply and will participate in a 6-month mentorship program.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 44.00 Per Hour
