You will not be employed by City National Bank. *The Opportunity* Capital Market Middle Office is a position that will develop and lead all aspect of strategic planning, maintain adequate operations procedures and systems for the Capital Market Operations within Business & Investment Services (B&IS). This function covers incumbent's responsibilities for operations relating to all line of business within Capital Market, which include FX & Interest Rate Derivatives. The primary immediate function for this role, will be to support the daily FX & Interest Rate activities. The overall objective is to provide support to the Capital Market Front office. Banking and Investment Services plays an integral role in leading the strategic vision and execution of all banking operations. Our servicing and operations professionals partner closely with all of our lines of business to carry out critical functions, including client/deposit servicing, contact center operations, payments processing, and trade and lending operations, while identifying and mitigating risk throughout the organization. Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses. *The Responsibilities* * Providing support to Capital Market Front Office: FX & Interest Rate Sales & Trading * Maintain and manage daily tasks including but not limited to trade entries, management control reports * Partner with Front Office to meet business objectives, maximize productivity, quality, customer service/satisfaction and controls on operating risk * Provide support to the Capital Market business units and their affiliated Line of Business * Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy * Support Capital Markets projects, including procedure updates, cross-trainings, process improvements, and assuring all applicable project deliverables are on time * Identifies and implements new processes, procedures and products to improve workflow, efficiency and/or profitability; oversees or participates in operations development and key metrics * Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience * Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters * Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with policies and procedures * Exerts influence in the development of overall objectives while operating within the Bank's risk appetite * Ensures activities are in compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and CNB policy and procedure *The Qualifications* * Prior experience working in a Middle Office environment or other adjacent operations team relating to Interest rates & FX or within Capital Market desks * Individuals who have Middle office / back office experience in other Capital Market products may be considered * Must be a self-starter, with exceptional organizational skills that complement the ability to work at a fast pace under stressful deadlines * Sees the big picture and keeps current with emerging business, economic and market trends * Strong team player who collaborates readily with others within and across teams * This opportunity would suit an individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is responsive and has a commitment to serving their client group * An understanding of FX, Interest Rate Swaps and Clearing OTC Derivatives * Experience dealing with both LCH and CME * Familiarity in dealing with risk and able to understand P&L * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum 3 year of experience in financial services/ banking industry * Minimum 3 year of operations management, client service management, documentation, or client training experience required * Minimum 2 years of experience providing customer service This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $30.53/hour - $32.73/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K *QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE* *Work Authorization :* US Citizen *Preferred years of experience :* 1 years *Travel required :* No travel required *Shift timings :*
