Job Title: Campus Recruiting Coordinator

Location: New York, NY 10020

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $28 – $30.65/hour

Work Schedule:

  • May–August: Up to 5 days/week in office
  • Off-season: 2–3 days/week in office

About the Opportunity:

Russell Tobin is seeking a Campus Recruiting Coordinator to support our client’s recruiting efforts in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in recruitment operations, event planning, and early career talent engagement. The role offers potential for extension or conversion for the right candidate.

Position Overview:

As a Campus Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless recruitment experience for candidates and supporting the logistics of campus programs and events. You’ll collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and external partners to help execute the summer internship program and other campus recruiting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support intern program events (e.g., Lunch & Learns, Trivia Nights, and networking socials)
  • Set up catering and coordinate with vendors for all campus-related events
  • Manage logistics for both virtual and on-campus recruiting events
  • Post job openings on school platforms such as Handshake, Simplicity, and WayUp
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system and recruiting database
  • Assist with marketing collateral creation and distribution for university events
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
  • Book travel arrangements for candidates as needed
  • Process offer letters and support onboarding processes including background checks
  • Monitor and maintain campus recruiting budgets; process related invoices and expenses
  • Support special projects including DEI initiatives, campus ambassador programs, and employee resource groups

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong event coordination and project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with precision and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Personable, collaborative, and capable of building strong internal and external relationships
  • Professional, polished presence and calm under pressure
  • Open to feedback with a flexible, positive mindset
