Position Overview:

Poggesi is seeking an exceptional Business Development Advisor to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is perfect for a highly driven individual with a passion for luxury products and sales. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, cultivating relationships, and introducing our premium products to new and existing customers in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a track record of success in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development : Identify and engage new customers within your designated territory. Build and foster relationships with key decision-makers in the hospitality industry.
  • Sales Process Management : Drive the entire sales process—from prospecting to closing—by scheduling meetings, delivering presentations, and understanding customer needs and requirements.
  • Account Growth : Respond to inquiries from existing customers, introduce new products and services, and expand business within existing accounts.
  • Goal Achievement : Consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Industry Networking : Represent Poggesi at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to showcase our products and expand our network.
  • Territory Travel : Travel within your assigned territory (at least 50% of the time) to meet clients and grow business relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience : Proven experience selling luxury products, ideally within the hospitality, hotel, or leisure industries.
  • Presentation Skills : Ability to effectively present and communicate complex information to diverse groups, including managers, clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, and other relevant sales tools.
  • Mathematical Ability : Comfortable with calculations involving discounts, commissions, percentages, and basic algebraic and geometric concepts.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Conversational Spanish and/or Italian is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills : Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Attributes : Thorough, accurate, efficient, and dependable. Strong ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
