Key Responsibilities:

• BBQ Mastery: Prepare and BBQ meats to perfection while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Team Leadership: Schedule and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
• Menu Innovation: Test and develop new recipes based on culinary trends, and oversee menu planning.
• Operational Excellence: Review food and labor costs with the Executive Chef; monitor and ensure proper food handling compliance.
• Training & Development: Instruct and train kitchen staff on BBQ techniques and best practices, ensuring high standards are met.
• Budget Management: Create and adhere to budgets, reviewing product waste to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Communication: Maintain effective and friendly communication with employees, managers, and other departments.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of BBQ experience as a Pit Master, including catering experience.
• Culinary Background: Culinary degree or relevant culinary experience preferred.
• Financial Acumen: Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and purchasing concepts.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for BBQ: A true love for BBQ and a desire to stay updated on industry trends.
