We're hiring a Part-Time AI Engineer to assist our CTO & Chief AI Officer, Dashon Howard , in speeding up product development and refining our AI workflows. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in AI agents, machine learning, and CrewAI integration within a fast-growing startup.

The Role

This role is a mix of AI engineering, CrewAI automation, and assisting Dashon with backend development, integrations, and ML model fine-tuning . You’ll be hands-on in shaping how AI powers marketing and customer experience in cannabis retail .

Key Responsibilities

• Support Dashon & the AI Team – Assist in technical tasks, model development, and feature rollouts.
• AI Model Optimization – Fine-tune open-source LLMs and CrewAI workflows for dispensary-specific AI interactions.
• CrewAI & Multi-Agent Development – Enhance AI agent collaboration and real-time marketing automation.
• Data Engineering & API Work – Help integrate AI with POS systems, CRM tools, and business intelligence dashboards .
• Backend Support – Assist with Django/Python development, AI deployment, and cloud-based optimizations (AWS, Heroku, or similar) .

Who You Are

• Experience with AI/ML – Proficiency in CrewAI, LangChain, OpenAI API, and fine-tuning LLMs .
• Full-Stack Capabilities (Bonus) – Experience with Django, React, Tailwind, and cloud platforms .
• Startup Mindset – Comfortable with fast-paced work, problem-solving, and taking ownership of tasks .
• Data-Driven & Detail-Oriented – Able to debug, test, and optimize AI models for efficiency and accuracy.
