Job Posting: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist BMT

Location : Gainesville, Florida

Position Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Shift : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (8 hours)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Clinical Pharmacist BMT to join our Transplant Cellular Therapy (TCT) team in Gainesville, Florida. This position focuses on providing expert clinical pharmacy services to support Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy patients. In this role, you will be a key resource for the BMT/Cellular Therapy team, coordinating medication management and therapy for patients undergoing transplant and immunomodulation treatments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services for the TCT clinic , including medication management and therapeutic consultation for oncology and BMT patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, nurses, and other pharmacists) to develop and optimize medication therapies.
• Educate staff on the use of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications .
• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds , offering pharmacokinetic assessments and therapeutic recommendations.
• Ensure the safe use of medications and provide oversight for pharmacy techs, verifying medication orders and workflows.
• Support organization-wide quality improvement initiatives related to BMT and cellular therapies.

Qualifications :

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification preferred.
• Must have recent (within the last year) experience working in an acute hospital setting with a focus on oncology and BMT .
• TCT, CAR-T, or BMT experience is a MUST.
• Active Florida Pharmacy License is required.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
